Bohemian Rhapsody Guitar Lesson - First Solo Section Explained In Full
Monday, December 21st, 2009
This guitar solo uses E major pentatonic riffs combined with pinch harmonics and double stops to make some melodic phrases.
Lesson Notes: An example of a Half Step is 3rd fret to 4th fret, G to G# on the low E string. Enharmonic Equivalents - One note can have 2 names, G#(sharp) is also Ab(flat). Between E and F, and B and C there is only a Half Step of distance, no sharps or flats. Minor Pentatonics are best applied over Minor Progressions, Power Chord Progressions, and Blues Progressions so listen carefully!
